Rules of conduct in public transport for students
Sooner or later in the life of any student, the moment comes when you need to go on the road. And there are strict standards that are due to both safety requirements and considerations of the convenience of the child himself, other children and adults. It is enough to learn the simplest principles, learn to apply them automatically to drive comfortably and calmly in any city and even beyond it!
Courtesy and general convenience
The rules of conduct in public transport are usually studied as if every passenger in any trip has an accident or other critical situation. It is much more accurate to consider the “normal” situation, and the life safety standards should be left for later. Moreover, the same principles of behavior must be observed in theaters and cinemas, in the crowd and in the store, on the plane, on the train, on the ship ...
Remember: unless absolutely necessary (exit at the next stop, complete lack of seats or settlement with a conductor) you can not stop at the entrance. You need to go to the center of the cabin, sit on any empty seat or occupy a standing position. But you can’t rush either - look so that you don’t push anyone, don’t crush your leg, accidentally hit or knock any object out of your hands.
Give way to old and old people, people with disabilities, very young children and those traveling with heavy loads. Standing for 10 to 20 minutes for a student is not only not harmful, but even useful. Never try to shake snow and moisture from clothes and bags on the floor or on the seat, or to the sides.
You can’t even eat ice cream, nuts and chocolate bars in public transport.
Caring for the cleanliness of the transport and the convenience of other people does not end there. It is unacceptable to comb, cut and brush your nails, pick your nose, teeth and ears. If you have an irresistible urge to sneeze, hold your nose tightly with your fingers and open your mouth for 10 to 20 seconds, it almost always helps. Categorically you should not look at others or closely monitor all their actions, scream and sing loudly, talk with friends in urban transport "through the entire cabin."
It is better to prepare the fare even at home, in extreme cases - when waiting at the bus stop.
It is impossible:
- throw anything on the floor or out the window;
- cut and tear seats;
- to impose oneself as an interlocutor on unfamiliar or unfamiliar people;
- rush to the exit when the vehicle is already starting to slow down;
- move other people out of the way;
- fully disclose newspapers (magazines, voluminous documents);
- to put something on the feet of other people and on their things without permission, use other passengers as a support;
- climb with your feet on the seat.
How to get to the right place safe and sound
Etiquette is extremely important, but you must not forget about the safety rules. Never lean out of the windows, do not enter until the vehicle stops completely, and do not leave if he went and the doors began to close. Stop reading books, newspapers, watching videos, and listening to music while you travel. This is not only unhealthy, but also worsens the reaction at a critical moment. And the headphone wires or a dropped gadget caught on something can even cause injury.
There are only two basic conditions for a responsible passenger - he either sits or stands, holding his hand tightly on the handrail (rubber loop). Stay away from coughing and sneezing, especially in autumn and winter. Never stand on the lowest rung, unless there is another place.
Make sure that you, your clothes and clothes are not pressed by the door when opening and closing. Even when a minibus, for example (although this is forbidden), does not stop in the right place, it is better not to get out of it, but to get to a full stop.
Carefully look at where you step at the entrance to the transport and at the exit from it. If drunk or aggressive people are inside, stay away from them and try not to get into conflict first. When traveling late or early in an empty bus try to sit closer to the driver or conductorthen it will be more difficult for attackers to attack you.
Do not leave your things, inform drivers, conductors and supervisors about the things left and suspicious people.
These rules are universal. They must also be observed in other types of public transport: trolleybuses, metro, minibuses.
When traveling on a sightseeing bus, this list is supplemented by several more rules:
- Be sure to fasten your seat belts.
- You can leave the cabin at stops only in an organized manner.
- Arrive at the pick-up point and return to the bus at the stopping points in advance. It will be calmer, you will not only not leave the group and will not cause anyone trouble, anxiety, but you will be able to calmly and without haste take a certain place.
